MARCH 11, 2024  UPDATE:

At last the repairs from the storm that occurred on June 13, 2022 have been finished, and everything looks fantastic.   Thanks to the generous donations we have received from all of you who have supported us we have also been able to get many things repaired that were not covered by insurance, such as the soffit and overhang that was in need of repair and the sections that needed to be replaced.    The massive undertaking we are now planning is moving back into the museum.   Construction creates dust and most everything in the museum needs to be cleaned or dusted.   Any and all help with cleaning, unpacking boxes and moving artifacts back into place would be greatly appreciated.   If you are interested in helping with any of these tasks send us a message with your contact information and what areas you are able to help us with via our "Contact Us" page.

Many events are planned for this upcoming summer and fall so also check "Our Events" page

for information on the events that have already been scheduled for this upcoming summer.

Our anxiously awaited Van Buren County Historical Society Cookbook has been

published and is now available.   Be sure to get one while supplies last!

Go to "Our Events" page for information about the cookbook and how to order one.
